I'm not assuming anything. I just said he shouldn't have done it, and
it makes me wonder how much information he *really does* have access
to, and if he'll reveal it anyone else. He's demonstrated that he has
no concept of account confidentiality, but I hope he's reading this
thread and has learned to shut the hell up. Now that I know the
accounting department will give him information, I hope he no longer
plays on the site.

I'm not particularly concerned about it. Now that the VFP payments
will be cut in half soon, I'll play this week for the full pay, then
probably withdraw and say bye-bye to the site. I hate holdem, I suck
at it, and there are no stud8 games going.

Actually I don't remember it. I could probably pick him out if he sat
down at a table, because I'm pretty sure I remember what it started with,
but if you asked me what the player's name was right now my answer would
have to be "I don't know."

I played about 15 or so hands of Razz, 2 and 3 handed, but I've never seen
anyone in a Stud8 room. I've also sat for hours at a time at a Razz table
and never had anyone sit down.

I'm not too keen on the whole VFP thing either. It's not that great of a
benefit for NL players, since the blinds we play at are much lower than
similar limit games. I'm also not seeing any games at the level I would
rather play (.50/1 NL), and only very occasionally is the .25/.50 NL room
in use. I'm also a terrible limit player, so I try to "limit" my time at
those tables.

My plan was to deposit $500, win up to $750-$800 and withdraw the original
$500, since that's going towards a new roof for the house (yipee). I'm at
about $725 now, so unless something drastic happens, after this week's VFP
payment I should be there. After that, since it's pure profit, we'll see
what happens. The bonus does clear, much faster than UB, and so much
faster than FTP it's not even funny, so I'll still continue to play for
that.

The site does have a few "features" that are apt to drive me crazy and
withdraw my money, as a few other sites have done. But, for now, I'm
going to hang in there.

I just hope Red doesn't give out all my bank account information. (that's
a joke btw) :)

A good way to compare the two situations is this...someone shows up on RGP
claiming X poker site is rigged. RGP says "provide proof." OP posts,
say, 5 hand histories showing bad beats, and RGP says "that's way too
small of a sample."

In this situation, there's 1 single case of someone providing an extremely
small piece of information about a player (a player who has never been
named by the way), and RGP jumps all over the site assuming that the
person (Red) has access to any information on any player and will openly
reveal said information to anyone who asks.

Just an interesting observation.

I don't know, and neither does anyone else involved in this thread. We
could play "what if" all day long, but at the end of the day where does
that leave us?

All I'm saying is that yes, I understand where everyone is coming from,
but until I've seen evidence of anything else, as far as I'm concerned
this was an isolated incident. I don't konw how else to put it. I don't
play "what if" games, and like poker, I don't focus on results; instead
focusing my energy on making correct decisions.

No one is talking about "what if" games. If we accept what you posted
as true, and I do, then we know for a fact that at least one person
playing at the site has access to inside information on players, and
that under at least some conditions he will share that information
with friends playing at the site. There is no "what if" about that.

This particular case was not major, but it should never have happened,
and the fact that it happened should IMO be a cause for concern for
anyone playing at that site. I'm tempted to deposit there for their
deposit bonus, but I'm hesitant because of what I've learned from your
posts.

Here's a really simple answer for you. If this bothers you so much, and
you believe that this incident means the end of the world, don't deposit
there and don't play.

He just said it "isn't major" and you throw out "end of the world"?
I'm at a loss as to why you're taking the issue personally, Morph. The
only reason I (and probably Joe) keep posting to this thread is that
you keep defending the guy. Very weird.

This is the Welsh version, hence Jones the Sheep Fucker (I'm Welsh)
