2000 entrants at party 244 left, cutoff is 220.
i made 5th in last one , lost in plo tho.
woohoooo
Special thanks to Mike Caro and Lou Krieger on my nl tourneys today. I
hadn't been in 100+ player tourney in over a month, reread their sites
last nite and am applying their logic and advice.
www.igotskillz.com has links to them. Good Luck
ps. check out Russ' site www.pokermafia.com
his site has helped me be a bit ballsier at times without being stupid.
I'm trying to apply these concepts, although not exclusively one
concept solely derived from one person
Mike Caro's deception and money extraction when i have the best hand.
Lou Krieger's approach to starting hand selection
Russ Georgiev's approach to bullying or pot stealing by betting as much
as but no more than enough to take down uncontested pots |

I should tell everyone, in skillz's last tournament were he came 5th i stopped
by to cheer for him for a couple hours. In the end he sent me the buy-in to
the
tournament so i could give it a try next time!
So a huge thank you to him!

And here I thought I was the only one that gave a % to sweaters. Must be the
feeling of love and generousity in the air.

I have to say SACAC was a huge benefit to me. One situation where i
held tens and last option i folded.
Had i played i would have made a small advance. The downside was 50% of
the time i'd have made 900 dollars LESS.
Again had i won, my overall finish would have probably not been
affected. One of Mike Caro's articles shows when to fold aces and this
was a classic example of when to fold a decent hand.
Here and there SACAC would point out things so that i could maintain my
perspective and not get carried away.
