Also the max drop on low limit, middle limit & high limit.
Thanks in advance.

Nothing is standard except that % rake is illegal.

Northern California low limit games are almost all charged $3 fee + $1
jackpot per hand. Some places charge $4+$1. Many houses have a blind
structure with 3 blinds, the last being on the button. All blinds are
live in North Cal but button blinds are dead in So Cal.

Typical 3/6 is $3 BB, $2 SB, $2 Button.

Typical 6/12 is $6 BB, $2 SB, $2 Button.

Hopefully others can fill you in on higher limits.

Best,

Peter

BTW In my opinion 4$ rake in 3-6 is pretty much unbeatable unless you are
in real juicy game.

Virtually every game in California is juicy. My records for the last
few months, when I admittedly have been running good, show me beating
3/6 for just under 5 Big Bets an hour.

I have been beating that game for 2 Big Bets/Hr over several thousand
hours since I came to California.

2 BB / hour is very nice considering the rake. I had runs likes that for a
week or so where I just cleaned up. But after a little longer run that
included some bad weeks I looked at my numbers (I use excel and record
every session). I realize while I was barely breaking but the approximated
amount of rake paid during that time was astronomical considering 4$ per
hand.

Actually I like the fact that they stopped using live button. I just wish
they wouldn't even increased it by 25%.

You should probably play 6/12 most of the time if you are able to beat
3/6. The level of play is about the same, actually probably a little more
predictable.
