I know many gamblers are just out to have fun. They win some, they lose some, most lose overall, but that just may be the price of fun. However, i think there is also gamblers who believe in a quick and easy buck and have their eyes and ears ready for a way to break the bank. These are the gamblers that may fall victim to gambling scams. Here is one going on right now. You'll see emails or usenet postings for a sports betting system by a PhD of Physics with an unbeatable system. Here is a good summary of the scam.

Good idea to post scam alerts to help get the word out. I searched for posts promoting this scam and came up with several. Here is one, with several responses.
