Mr. V.:

If you want the truth, all you have to do is buy some precision casino
dice; read up on the sets for free online; practice at home till it makes
sense, and you see some reults; then take the show on the road.

You can order a stick or two at the Gambler's General Store. Just check
out my links posts for some free online info on DI.

As I have said before, I learned at the
tables of AC. There is no reason why you can't try it out for your own
shooting. Unless of course your hands/fingers have become too callous or
your hand eye coordination is shot.

I'll play the devils advocate. What if Beau was trying to show the
casino types that Dice Control doesn't work. Don't blackjack experts use
some sort of misdirection?

Is this a possibility?

Sure, its possible that a guy who makes his living teaching something
would want to demonstrate that he has nothing to teach on national
television to fool the casinos into a sense of complacency.

Apparently, this need to believe idiocy is boundless. You are willing to
construct the most moronic arguments in order to give an unfalsifiable
quality to the claims of the grifters.

There are psychics who claim that their powers are blocked by the presence
of skeptics. Do you think that a skeptical presence during the filming
might have caused the Dice Coach to tank?

No.

<from Dice Coach's commercial website: he posts a "thank you, teacher"
story from a new student who just learned how to play craps that week;
when he wasn't too busy getting drunk, the acolyte easily learned to
master dice setting...let's snoop under the tent of the Big Top, shall
we?>

"We both feel much better and head downstairs at the Rio to fleece a
$25 table. Kevin goes on fire first and rolls around 35 minutes. He hit
the 8 for point five times in his roll. I have a 20 minute plus roll.
The whole table energy was incredible. Kevin and I wait and roll one
more time. During this session my $700 buy in (I stick to either $700
or $1,100 for obvious reason 7 come 11 baby!) went to $7,000. I walked.
Kevin took $600 to $5,000. We both applied the Dice Coach betting
strategies and discipline.

My recent trip to Vega$ is the most exciting one I have ever had. Dice
Coach I feel very blessed to have you as a friend and a mentor. Thank
you! I have to go since FedEx just delivered my Custom Made Portable
Craps Practice Table & Case, and Throwing Station & Case! "

Ive seen the truth because Ive been in casinos and played with the DIs
and the DCs. You haven't, so you havent seen it with your own eyes.
Its that simple.

Going to your local casino wont necessarily allow you to see it either.

Ive only seen four shooters who can truly control the dice.

But during my lifetime I saw only one Mickey Mantle, one Roger Maris,
one Sandy Koufax and one Whitey Ford.

Its that simple.

How can you in fact discern that what you have experienced was in fact
the truth?

Going to your local casino wont necessarily allow you to see it either.

The truth need not be relegated to rare sightings in Vegas casinos,
must it?

What kind of truth would that be?

Ive only seen four shooters who can truly control the dice.

Details, please!

You see alan, I really would like to believe in dice setting, just as
I sometimes really would like to believe in god; one problem: critical
thinking.

But during my lifetime I saw only one Mickey Mantle, one Roger Maris,
one Sandy Koufax and one Whitey Ford.

Again, please explain specifically what it was that you saw that led
you to conclude that these 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse were in fact
touched by the dice gods with the inescapable gift of dice control.

How do you know it was anything other than luck?

WHAT DID YOU SEE?

Can you truthfully claim that you are a reliable reporter on the
subject, given your "need" to believe in dice setting?

To borrow from your hackneyed baseball comparison: were you juiced at
the time of the sightings?

What I saw was exactly what you want to see... guys who rolled the
dice, they stayed on axis, they reached the back wall and died or
bounced off slightly and they had rolls that last at least twenty
minutes.

One of these guys repeated this two more times at the table.

None of the four ever had a roll lasting more than 45 minutes... buy
hey... I only need a 20 minute roll to make a few thousand dollars and
DI and DC does not have to be perfect and unending for it to be
profitable.

None of these four are among the promoters of DC that are talked about
here. in fact to the best of my knowledge they are all "independents"
and they were not with any other players or "teams." I know this
because three out of the four were playing alone in the early morning
hours when i joined the table.

One of the guys was from Boston, one from the Pacific Northwest (he
would not be more specific). The other two guys were not talking and
would not engage in conversation when I tried. I even followed those
other two guys from the table when they finished and offered my
business card hoping to get a conversation going-- and while they were
cordial, they didnt want to talk.

For the record, while Ive met Heavy, I never played with him. I have
also never played with Beau or Scobe or Sharpshooter or the others.

How did I meet these guys? luck, and being at the tables around 6am.

Thanks for the reply.

I too hope to have such a sighting, one fine day, to disabuse myself of
a notion or two...

More exactly, what you saw was what you wanted to see. That is why anecdotal
evidence is worthless when engaged in critical thinking. Evidence must be
objectively replicable to have any use.

The clearly established truth is that Believing is seeing. Hence, we find
crowds of people seeing the face of Jesus in a tortilla.

The accounts of a superstitious thinker (I prefer craps mystic) are worthless to
anyone but himself.

Devil's advocate:

It you saw what alan says he saw, namely

guys who rolled the
dice, they stayed on axis, they reached the back wall and died or
bounced off slightly and they had rolls that last at least twenty
minutes.,

and if these guys could in fact replicate and repeat this activity
(not a one time chance meeting at 6 AM on the casino floor): would that
begin to convince you?

I am intriqued not by the wins (variance) but by the dice staying on
axis, landing softly (and while alan is unclear, I assume they stayed
on axis after hitting the table.)

That would be precision shooting.

Just back from another trip. this time, NO dice control at the tables
by anyone. Dice rolled all over the place, off axis. Table results
were "choppy," no big wins or big losses.

Mason, I know what your definitions of dice control are. If you choose
not to believe that I have witnessed it-- that;s fine. Frankly, I dont
care.
