When you start to get on a roll and are finally winning some of your normal
bets, do you ever just throw something down on the 12?
I've always just played basic strategy and the occasional hardway but never
any of the real high odds/high house edge bets. Ever had any luck if so?

Whenever I get my bets pressed up to $390 across ($25 table starting
with 130 or 135 across) I start betting $20 on the horn on every throw.
Yeah, you can argue its a waste of money, but at that point Im making
at least $105 on every throw so taking a shot with the $20 horn is not
a big deal for me.... and if ive pressed up to that level, I must have
already had a big win.

If a shooter throws two twelves in a row, I will throw $5 on the 12
just in case it hits a third time. Twice it has. I dont press.

There is a common play called, "See a Horn - Bet a Horn".

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Horns work. I will usually lay 5 with a High on the last horn. Although,

However, with the vig they really are a suck bet. I did watch one man play
11 and 12 every 3 or 4 roll. At first I though he was a bozo but whith in 2
hours he quaded is bankroll. But by the end of the evening he was out. I
