FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GOLDEN TOUCH, DICE CONTROL, AND
CRAPS
IF YOUR TEACHERS ARE SO GOOD WHY ARE THEY TEACHING?
The old cliché "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach," sounds
profound and appears to be a witty way of mocking individuals who
belong to a given profession. Unfortunately, like most cliches it
suffers upon examination. The greatest teachers in the world are
usually those who have actually accomplished something in their given
field. The greatest learning for a student comes under the tutelage of
those who "can do" and "can teach." as well. The Golden Touch
instructors, each and every one of them, have been successful in their
chosen fields and at the craps tables - and they can do, in the casino,
exactly what they are teaching you!

I had to replace my toilet plunger today ($7.50). The old one wore off the pole. |

I hereby trademark the phrase "That's Bullshit!", before Paris Hilton trademarks
"That's Cool" for her new winter wear lineup. "That's Hot!,....and steamy!" |

(Snapped from the thread)
World Champion: Dominator
March 31, 2005, Canada (Casino Play)
56 Straight numbers before a seven showed.
(end of snapped)
I read the whole thread and as a newbie have been wondering about
precision shooting. The best shooting position is to the right of the
stick-man in my opinion so you do not have to throw far. I put the
five's up with the ones to the left. Beating the pass line on my roll
seems to work. But what I want to know and maybe one of you guys could
tell me is what do you set the dice on when you are beating the Don's
and want lots of sevens. How do you set the dice to achieve this?
Off topic "World Champion: Dominator" is the name of one of the top
telemarketers at CW Agencies in Vancouver BC CA. They sell lottery
tickets overseas. They do not sell to the USA, but mainly France,
Germany, New Zealand and Australia. Me I sell newspapers over the phone
and am one of the top sales people at our office. So how do you be a
"Dominator" and throw lots of sevens. What do you have to set the dice
on boys and girls. |

"Dominator" is reported to be in the retail shoe business in the NYC
area.
Perhaps he practices his grip and throw tossing wingtips at his
employees?
His exploits are naught but yet another larger than life construct from
the fertile mind of Frank Scoblete, hack extraordinaire.
("I'm your captain, yeah yeah yeah yeah...")
My advice: forget about dice setting, as it is a fantasy, filled with
false hope, an abject fraud designed to enrichen its promoters at the
expense of the dolts.
You'd be better off to devote your energy and money to working out in a
gym, to clear your mind and toughen your body for the rigors of craps.
Seriously.

I recommend a book by Sharpshooter ""Get the Edge at Dice" if you want to
understand how this is suppose to work. Doe it work, I don't know. As I
have said before I have been at the table with some of the instructors of
dice influencing or whatever the current term is, and have no first hand
experience of their ability to influence the dice.
I have read Sharpshooters book and what is called a sevens set would have
the 3-4 on the top of the dice with 5-2 on the side facing you. the 6 is on
the outside of one die and the 1 on the outside of the other die that you
can see.
It is a physical skill, can you learn to do it? I don't know, I have read
books on golf, but I can't play like Tiger.

What absurdity!
Make a list of all the physical skills that can't be learned.
Quote: | I don't know, I have read books on golf, but I can't play like Tiger.

The analogy is asinine. Skill in golf is not simply alleged in books by those
who profit from the marketing of the concept, it is unquestionably demonstrated
and quantified. Relative skill levels are assigned weighting factors based on
performance against objective standards.

Oh boy, the fog bank has rolled in today. Mason using the golf
analogy?????
I've been saying this for years and have been criticized for it. Now
Fog Boy comes in and says the skill can be quantified and there you go.
Well shooting can be qualified as well. And like golf, sometimes it
works and sometimes it doesn't. Great example in this week's Masters.
On the 1st day Tiger putts for an eagle and ends up in a creek. Last
day he flies the green on 16 and chips the ball sideways and ends up
with a birdie. He then makes a bogey on 17 and 18. He then makes a
great putt in the playoff and wins. Bad, good, bad and good. Sort of
like craps. Good rolls and then a point 7.
There are relative skill levels in craps.
It is not gonna be of any use to discuss it because of the closed minds
here and their entrenched opinions.
I just hope everyone see what old Mason just did. In the past he held
the position golf doesn't apply. Poof. Today golf (read skill) can be
quantified.
Actually, Mason's skill in taking positions is like golf and shooting.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
The things that go on in a fog.
Have a nice day.

Im not sure if we tried this one before, but: WHY do you believe dice
control or dice influencing is impossible? And if its because of the
alligator bumps, explain why?
(By the way, the sand traps, rocks, hills, don't stop great golfers, so
why should alligator bumps?)

Golfer
" Oh boy, the fog bank has rolled in today. Mason using the golf analogy?????"
No, Golfer.
Mason called the golf analogy to dice control used by Noah "asinine" and
explained why.
Once again, Golfer rushes forward to demontrate his manifest short comings. |

alan asks:
WHY do you believe dice
control or dice influencing is impossible? And if its because of the
alligator bumps, explain why?
Fair question.
The entire precision shooting concept is based on keeping the dice on
axis, such that they are on the same axis after they stop rolling as
they were when the shooter picked them up and launched them.
I can accept the possibility that some folks can, through extensive
practice, muscle control, whatever, keep the dice on axis as they fly
through the air, but it is the "rough landing" that causes me to part
company with the faithful.
To my mind, there really is no way to keep the dice regularly on axis,
over and over, once they hit the felt, or the wall; there are too many
factors which will influence the manner and direction in which they
travel.
If they land in less than perfect synchronicity, randomness will
follow: both have to stay on axis, and it won't happen if their angle
at landing differs, or if one has a bit more momentum, etc.
As for the alligator walls, it's more than the randomizing effect they
are designed to impart; it seems to me that as soon as they land, with
any amount of substantial vigor or energy, the angles or skew or
whatever will be different, causing randomness.
Sure, once in awhile they might stay on axis, but over and over and
over?
Nope.
