ANyone aware of any tourney's in the area. Holdem is OK but my preference
would be either RAZZ, OMAHA/8, or DOOKIE.

Sorry, but the self-righteous puritans of the Texas Bible Belt say that
gambling is a sin, so they wouldn't allow it.

Meanwhile, the flop-wearing, tofu-eating, salamander-huggers say that it is
addictive, so *they wouldn't allow it, either.

It's still illegal, unfortunately, but good luck in your quest.

B.S. There is a poker game somewhere in Austin nearly every night. Home
games are perfectly legal in Texas as long as the house is not raking it.

I guess I didn't understand what he meant by a poker tournament.

And yes, I knew that it was legal as long as the house didn't get a cut.
That's just not what I thought he was looking for....

My mistake.

Donald,
Wrong on this one. It's legal to have home games for money as long as the
"house" dosen't make a profit or fee. Other places around town have weekly
games like Baby A's and Razoos resteraunt

Salute! You had the "key horse" in the 6th. An exacta payoff of
$7.30! First 2 "key horses" ran 3rd. Do you actually bet these? I
suspect not.
