Well, having become convinced that the Lottery is a complete waste of
time and having become bored at the very occasional £10 I have reduced
my number of tickets to 1 or 2 per week depending on the Jackpots
(Midweek and Saturday). I am also very annoyed at the discrpancy of
prizes between numbers of balls. The UK National Lottery now has now
just too many spin offs Thunderball etc. to the point that it's
confusing and one just loses more money on more garbage! When
something gets too big for it's boots it;s time to walk! The Euro
Lottery is complete garbage and uninteresting.

I have instead rediscovered the Football Pools and I hope more people
are doing the same thing since more punters make bigger prizes! Which
I should never have let go because I have in the past been a winner
with at least one notable win of 8 draws and a 2 on an 8 from 10!
Point is you can win the coupon! My parents always did the coupon
until the National Lottery came about and oddly enough they have
recently started doing a regular cupon again! So I think more people
are rediscovering the Football Pools.

So Right now I've got some Vernons, Zetters and Brittens perms on the
go for the next few weeks. The internet has made it so much easier to
enter the games!

I am seriously taking a look at Brittens this time (never did before)
because I have on examination found their dividends to rival and quite
often better the the more expensive Zetters!

Brittens are a pretty good right now at just 86p for their 8 from 13!
Compare that to Zetters who are charging £2.57 for the same game!
Then compare their prizes and I'm sure you'll agree Brittens is a
better deal online.

However it should be noted that if you phone/send off to Zetters for a
coupon you will very likely get a pretty good deal on 8 from 11's. I
do 10 X Zetters 8 from 11's each week for just over £2 (actual figure
escapes me right now, but it's a good deal!) Plus if you do it for a
number of weeks you will get a % discount so all in all you are
gambling for less.

Vernons are doing a pretty good deal right now on their site at £1 for
each 8 from 11 game (let's face it you get a bigger prize with
Vernons!) but also for every game you play you get a free game so
that's only 50p per 8 from 11 game! Pretty good value I think because
although on their site they demand you deposit £10 they give you £5
free to bet with. For instance I deposited £15 + free fiver = £20
which then bought me 4 x 8 from 11 games for 10 weeks! So in a
nutshell for just £15 I will have £48 worth of 8 from 11's over the
next 10 weeks! Good Deal! Check it out! :-)

Compare that to the National Lottery and the Coupon is considerably
better value.

Ouch slight error in my above posting should have read £40 worth of 8
from 11's over the next 10 weeks and NOT £48. Still a very good deal!

eg. £15 deposit on the Vernons site + FREE £5 for opening an account
= £20 TOTAL to gamble with! Since we are getting a free game for each
£1 X 8 from 11 game on the Vernons website - that implies 2 games for
£1 (50p for each 8 from 11). Therefore 4 X 8 from 11 games per week
for 10 weeks = £15 actual outlay for a total of 40 games!
