Anybody have one of these they are interested in selling ? I have version 3
but would like to get version 5. Can upgrade for $200 but that seems a bit
steep.

I dont know about, but I have this hand held computer I bought on e-bay
called the horse race analyzer. The instructions mention Maurice
Zolotov. It is in brand new condition and I figure it will be a mueseum
piece someday. Date on the back of the unit says 1983.

Is it made by Mattel? ( yes, the toy company) I have a Mattel horse race
analyzer hand held computer that I bought in the early '80's for $100 from
Electronics Boutique video store. I wonder if this is the same thing you're
referring to. It's in brand new condition and still in the box too. Uses a
9v battery and needs some basic racing form input. It used to pick 'em
pretty good, but haven't used it in years.

It does not say mattle anywhere. It does use a 9 volt battery. The
trademark on the back says advanced hanicapping technologies inc. Has a
U.S patent #. There is also a picture of a 31,466.40 dolaar check on the
back of one of the manuels. I have never used this device but may give
it a try.

I'll bet it's the same one. I found it on Google and it was developed by Dr.
Quirin , no less. I never knew it was that good (developed by him) until 10
minutes ago, lol. Now I know why it worked so well. Mattel stopped selling
it and it was then picked up by Advanced Handicapping Technologies a few
years later. It's probably the same one you have. Here's a link with a
picture and some info. Brings back memories. It actually picked 9 of 9
winners at the Meadowlands one night about 20 years ago. The web site even
talks about the algorythms Quirin used. Steve

I recall this device and for some reason cannot bring up Steve's

recommended site. My experience was an awful lot of work to invariably,
come up with the chalk of the race. Could be I was doing something
wrong. Be interesting to know if you gents fared better.

yes, it does seem like alot of work. I just got back to work and I will
be turning the trackmaster subsription back on (May 1st). Software is
simple to navigate and has been real good to me.

Another thing T.M. is great for is knowing if a horse has turf
bloodlines. Great at spotting potential for big payoffs on the lawn.

I see many cheap claimers with great turf bloodlines that have never
run on the lawn. I thought if I had some money to play with I'd claim a
couple and give them a shot.

Nice to dream
