|
|
I just purchased a blackjack table and was setting up the shoe.
I put two decks in the shoe unseparated in the shoe and my wife said they
should be separated.
From working for party entertainment companies, when I set up the Blackjack
tables, the shoes were filled with what looked like 6 - 8 decks unseparated.
Who's right?
Thanks.

I don't know what "separated" means, but you are supposed to shuffle the
decks together. The decks are supposed to be all the same color so you
cannot tell which deck a card is from. |

Yes, You will want to shuffle the cards together. The decks MUST have
the same back. The best way to shuffle the cards is to WASH them first.
No not with soap and water! Washing refers to placing the cards on the
table face down and then using both hands just mix them together. This
is the closest you will get to randomizing the cards. Repeat for each
deck, then shuffle the decks together. Then place them in the shoe.
