Won $175 Tips $15 Dinner $12 Salmon very good. $10 cab home. The
dealers like me as I tip them all the time. Big hit was taking $100 and
putting all on the dont pass. Shooter rolled a four. Six roll's latter
rolled a seven and I won $200. Tried to gamble up lost $25 so got out
good day all told..

Why do you tip the dealers? What id they do for you that a machine couldn't
have?

I was lightly chided by a dealer for not tipping once, so I asked him why I
should tip, and he said, it's like with a waiter or waitress in a restaurant,
so I pointed out to him that the server generally brings me what I ask for, and
I'd like a four, please!

I tip the dealers, for a couple of reasons.

Sometimes, when I tip, errors get made which are in my favor.

Not always, but enough that I notice and appreciate it.

I also make the dealers work a lot, regressing, pressing, coming down
on my place bets a lot.

I tell them "If I'm gonna work ya, I might as well pay ya for it."

Many players do not realize that dealers depend on tokes for the bulk
of their income.

Tipping also seems to help my comp rating, but I won't swear to it.

Finally, at the casinos I play at regularly, it is good to have them
recognize me, remember me, and treat me as one of the brothers of the
bones, not just some non-tipping p.o.s. flea.
