just wondering. i'm always reading what you post, yet i never see anyone come to
your defense when you get flamed. this is not a flame post however, as i have
read some of your articles, applied some of the concepts and improved my play.
so, is there?

I like Russ, he's been pleasant to me and he even did me a favor about
three years ago. I don't trust him and I think he should be in jail
for all the cheating he's done, but I like him well enough. I don't
come to his defense because most of what he writes about involves
things he's done that are indefensible. Besides, he's a big boy, he
can handle himself.

Try googling Russ G. on this site, sort your search by date and look at
one of the conversations that took place yesterday, April 20. In that
conversation, a few people came to his defense.

I dont know Russ but 60%+ of bad cheats are "nice guy. Almost all- 98%+
of very good cheaters are likable and friendly. It is usually part of
the trade - in the old day they had to have games to play in.

I like Russ. Even though he is admittedly a cheater, he's been honest
and helpful in all dealings I've had with him and I've read that he's been
very helpful to others on this newsgroup as well. Alot of people here
don't like him because he told what should have been obvious to
everyone...when lots of money is involved people will behave dishonestly
to get it.
in closing, yes i like Russ and, cheating aside, i have alot of respect
for the guy. Even with the fact that he's cheated I have respect for the
guy because of the way he's conducted himself in his interactions with me.
