U.S. Players – Take Action Now

U.S. online poker players should read this notice published by the PPA.

On August 6th, U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) introduced S. 1597, the Internet Poker and Games of Skill Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act of 2009. This legislation would license and regulate Internet poker and other games of skill in the United States. With the introduction of this bill in the Senate, we are one step closer to clarifying the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) and protecting our rights to play the game we all love.

Now, if I could just do this every day.

So, a couple months ago I started to revisit PokerStars and revise our review. I got side-tracked, but got back to it a few days ago and hit a really run. It wasn’t just the cards, but the players at these tables were playing, in general, tight. It has been very easy to raise pre-flop, get a caller or two, then post a post-flop follow-up and get everyone to fold. I started with $75 to do the review process, and is now at $401. Just wish I had started with $75,000 instead!

Reviews/Ratings on the move!

The reviews and ratings are being moved to the new system. Guest reviews and ratings are being restored from the backup. This is a manual process so it may take a few weeks to complete.

The good news is that our new system will block the spam that caused us to close down the guest review feature.

Pardon Our Dust

We are remodelling our site! Over the next few weeks you may notice some of these changes going on. Besides a new look we will be re-instating the user review feature as well as revising our old reviews and adding new ones.
